The organizing committee has announced the names of the winners of the “Ibdaa –Creativity” awards competition in jewelry design, which is being held on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Jewelry and Watch Expo.
The “Ibdaa” award, which consists of four design categories including pearls, Emirati national identity, designs inspired by Arabic calligraphy and designs for people with special needs, attracted a large number of designers of different nationalities, numbering more than 500 creators to date.
And the number of those who were honored over the ten years was 150 winners, 50 of whom won first place. D.
The organizers of the Ibdaa Prize are celebrating the tenth anniversary of its founding since its first launch, which was established by Emirati designer Azza Al Qubaisi as a leading platform for emerging jewelry designers to showcase and assess their creations by through a panel of specialists.
The award is an opportunity to turn their passion from a hobby to a professional.
As part of the activation of the participation of all creators in the Ibdaa Prize, a new category has been created under the name of “Creativity Without Borders” to be an opportunity to present all the artistic creations of jewelry and other works of art. ‘art.
The jury includes 3 eminent artists, including jewelry designer Azza Al Qubaisi, designer Maha Al Sibai, Sheikha Al Serkal and Noura Al Serkal.
