Tierra Whack is strutting around with her new jewelry capsule collection Tierra Whack x Banter by Piercing Pagoda, which will be released on July 14th.
The rapper, songwriter and style icon has just become the new creative director of Piercing Pagoda, working in collaboration with Malyia McNaughton, a proud member of the Black in Jewelry Coalition Board, to create the designs. The 16-piece limited-edition jewelry collection includes brand-new rings, bracelets, necklace, charms and earrings, all with Whack’s signature style.
Known for her very unique approach to her music and style, Banter says the jewelry is inspired by her love of music, animals and unapologetic self-expression. With pieces like the “Wiggity Whack Studs” or the “Nailed It Bracelet“, Whack shows that it’s not your big sister’s piercing brand anymore.

In fact, it’s a big step for Banter, who recently ditched her old Piercing Pagoda look and rebranded herself as a gender-neutral line inspired by the creativity of self-expression and non-conformity. With a distinctive capital letter in gold “B” letters, Banter from Piercing Pagoda, and the new line from Tierra Whack, is a bold look. Everything in the collection is gold (solid 10k and plated) and is available online and at all Banter by Piercing Pagoda stores.
In addition to designing the collection, Whack also starred in a colorful and comedic film sesame street-esque short series of videos showcasing her journey from being creative director, through the design process, and finally to launch (along with a few furry friends she calls her “creatives”).
The collection is priced from $55 to $1,750, so there are styles for everyone. Especially with the “Initial Studs” alphabet, you can mix and match to wear them where and how you want. No pretension here, just stylish and functional jewelry that you can actually wear every day.
You can go a little crazy with Tierra Whack’s newest collection online now at Banter.com. While Whack’s style is sure to influence future jewelry lines, these pieces are limited edition, so check them out while you can.
