NOTNature’s role as the ultimate muse is celebrated in Harry Winston’s new fine jewelry collection, Marvelous Creations. Nature’s inspiring patterns and brilliant creations found on land, in the sky, in water and deep within the earth are transformed into fantastical designs.
A necklace borrows the pattern of python skin, beautifully executed with blue sapphires alongside diamonds, showcasing a teardrop of blue sapphire. The complementary timepiece glides effortlessly along the wrist with tapered, hand-cut baguette diamonds, with varying shades of blue sapphires surrounding the dial. Jeweled birds in flight are cast into six brooches, including a hand-carved onyx black-necked crane with diamond cluster wings, captured in midair, while a diamond and ruby brooch draws inspiration graceful ripples of a betta fish.
Asterism, the natural and mystical occurrence of a star-shaped pattern on the surface of a stone, is honored by four unique rings, including a 4.91-carat star ruby set with round brilliant and marquise diamonds and a 13.48-carat Star Sapphire set in classic Winston diamond patterns.
The collection makes its US debut in Houston this Friday, May 20 through June 23, at the Harry Winston boutique in the River Oaks district.
