On August 19, Louis Vuitton relaunched its magnificent Empreinte Haute Joaillerie line. The original collection debuted in 2004 as an ode to the French house’s iconic codes. Today, Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of jewelry and watches, Francesca Amfitheatrof, has brought the collection back, curating the house’s history in new iterations for a modern era.

Elements of Louis Vuitton’s past drive the collection. The intertwined rings and bracelets symbolize romance and recall the leather straps used on the house’s iconic luggage. Trunk studs, monogram flowers and the legendary LV initials (designed by Georges Vuitton in 1896) are also engraved on the 18-carat yellow, white or pink gold pieces.

Available for both men and women, the collection includes rings, bracelets, earrings (including diamond-set rose gold hoops and earrings), as well as necklaces, which come in a long style that turns into a bracelet or a stacked necklace.

The combination of time-tested designs mixed with more edgy and modern pieces is just the combo that makes the collection both eye-catching and timeless.

The drop in Empreinte Fine Jewelry comes after Louis Vuitton celebrated its bicentenary last year. The festivities continued through 2022, including an exhibit at a stunning private residence on Shelter Island which you will soon be able to read about in the next GRAZIA Official Journal: Hamptons.
