ARCATA, CALIFORNIA, USA, October 1, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Holly Yashi, California Jewelry Design Company, Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Holly Yashi is celebrating 40 years of handcrafting jewelry on the California North Coast.

“While any company can have a mission other than mere survival, ours is to resist the current direction of the market and suggest an alternative path, where good design is not something disposable, and where you can be proud of something you bought twenty years ago,” says Paul Lubitz, co-founder and CEO of Holly Yashi. “We have a story behind every piece of jewelry we make, every joint we solder, and every the color we choose.”

Holly Yashi was created in a one-car garage in 1981 in Arcata, California. To this day, the jewelry is still handcrafted in Arcata along California’s Redwood Coast, but has moved from the garage to a 15,000 square foot studio. Throughout this time, Holly Yashi has built a loyal following of customers from all over the world.
“We’ve come a long way since those garage days…While our Northern California design studio is now fifteen thousand square feet, we still honor the craftsmanship of jewelry making, by handcrafting our jewelry in small batches, preserving the value of each piece so it can live on for decades to come,” says Holly, co-founder and creative director of Holly Yashi.

About the Founders: With a major in studio art and a specialization in jewelry making, Holly Hosterman is the creative force behind artistic creations. Her business partner Paul “Yashi” Lubitz holds a dual degree in industrial technology and music and is the innovative mind behind the creative techniques used to handcraft Holly Yashi’s one-of-a-kind pieces.

What makes Holly Yashi jewelry special? Niobium. Holly Yashi creates beautiful colorful patterns by immersing this lightweight precious metal in a bath of electrically charged water which transforms this metal into hues of rich, permanent color. Talk about innovation!

Holly Yashi also believes in sustainability and giving back. One cause to consider is Holly Yashi’s effort to save butterflies. When customers purchase from the Holly Yashi Bella Butterfly collection, a percentage of the purchase goes towards helping butterfly habitat. See link for more information Bella Butterfly Collection
