For the majority of 2022, 6ix9ine has been pretty quiet on social media.
It is usually ready with trolling attempts and singles. However, the Brooklyn-based rapper hasn’t posted on his Instagram page since May last year.
However, he is apparently “struggling to make ends meet”, according to recent testimony before a judge.
According to court documents obtained by Complex, the rapper, real name Daniel Hernandez, told a judge overseeing his 2018 armed robbery trial that his career hadn’t been the same since his time in prison.
Money is also running out in his career and record companies would refuse to make advances to him.
In the docs, the “TROLLZ” rapper admits he doesn’t know if he’ll “ever order the kind of advances I was paid before I was arrested and my career stalled.”
He apparently doesn’t receive any payments under his artist or merchandise recording deals.
Sixix9ine’s recording contract with TenThousandProjects expired in February, as did his merchandise deal.
The “WAKA” rapper signed with the label in 2017 and released his mixtape “Day69” and studio album “Dummy Boy” in 2018.
He later quit the label immediately before being jailed for racketeering a year ago.
After his release from prison, 6ix9ine released a number of singles as well as a 2020 album titled “TattleTales”.
In his final statement to the judge, the 26-year-old rapper said: “This will undoubtedly bankrupt me in a way that I will never recover from, to the permanent disadvantage and hardship of family members who rely on me. .”
In addition to his mother and brother, the income he receives himself, his two small children and their mother.
6ix9ine’s civil case stems from an attempted armed robbery in April 2018 in which he and members of Trey Nine Bloods assaulted Seketha Wonzer and Kevin Dozier, mistaking them for Rap-A-Lot Records.
He pleaded guilty to the charges in 2019 and was ordered to pay for his involvement in the robbery.

In 2017, he rose to prominence with the release of “Gummo”, which quickly peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard Hot 10.
The rapper has a $2 million Mercedes McLaren P1 and a $300,000 Rolls-Royce Ghost.
6ix9ine also owns various chains and grids, the most valuable of which is his “My Little Pony” chain, which is estimated to be worth $750,000.
He also has a $100,000 Rolex watch, a rainbow spinner and 69 rings which he bought for $300,000.
